How Much Does it Cost to Join CHPSO?

Membership to CHPSO Patient Safety Organization is complimentary to members of the California Hospital Association (CHA) and the regional associations: Hospital Council of Northern and Central California, Hospital Association of Southern California, and Hospital Association of San Diego and Imperial Counties). There is a nominal fee for other organizations. A fee schedule is available on the prospective members section.

Members include hospitals, health care systems, SNFs, physician groups, and liability carriers. If your hospital has not yet joined a PSO, there are many benefits CHPSO can offer. One of the largest benefits our members receive is the collaboration with other facilities. At safe table meetings, member hospitals share patient safety events in a privileged discussion, specifically what can be learned, what resources are available, and most importantly, shared learning of the event. These meetings are held via teleconference and CEs are provided. CHPSO also produces yearly annual reports for hospitals with a dashboard of event submissions, harm scale, and top drug classes mentioned. When hospitals are ready to submit data to CHPSO, the data mapping process is simple and is approximately three hours to set-up. For more information, please contact CHPSO, info@chpso.org.
